Dish Network Launches Two Israeli Channels on Israeli Platinum Package

Dish Network has launched two Israeli channels on Israeli Platinum Package on international programming this month. Israel One and Good Life Israel are the popular Israeli channels launched to Dish Network subscribers.

Good Life Israel, available on DISH Network Ch. 743, broadcasts a variety of cooking, travel, design, Israeli music, health and well being and children’s programming. The lifestyle channel features Israeli celebrities, chefs, doctors, tour guides and other experts as they explore the world through an Israeli’s point of view.

Israel One, available on DISH Network Ch. 742, broadcasts films, series, concerts, children’s programming and unique programming from the largest TV library in Israel. Israel One features programs that have historical and authentic value for audiences around the world including daily English news cast from Jerusalem, documentaries, current events shows and content from the fastest growing Kabala and Knesset channels.

Dish Network Signs Agreement With 46 States

Dish Network has signed an agreement with 46 state attorneys general to resolve a dispute about advertising, telemarketing, and customer issues. Dish is keen to promote continued customer satisfaction, under the Assurance of Voluntary Compliance agreement.

Tom Cullen, Executive Vice President of DISH Network said “Customer satisfaction has always been a top priority for DISH Network, and we continuously implement new approaches to strengthen our customer relationships, we are pleased to work with the state attorneys general in a cooperative manner to enhance our products and services.”

Dish Network’s 46 states are: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Dish Network Launches ‘TV9 Telugu’ on International Programming Package

Dish Network has launched a 24-hour Telugu news channel ‘TV9 Telugu’ on its international programming package. The Telugu new channels is the most viewed news channel in Telugu, which features live news, current affairs and various entertainment shows. TV9 Telugu is a leader in delivering news and various entertaining programming in Andhra Pradesh.

Sinclair Enters Retransmission Deal With Dish Network

Sinclair Broadcasting Group has announced that it has reached an agreement with Dish Network. Sinclair has extended its agreement and this allows the sat caster to carry Sinclair’s broadcasting networks and also video-on-demand content.

Sinclair carries major broadcast networks such as ABC, CBS, CW, FOX and MNT in as many as in thirty-five markets. Sinclair has recently signed retransmission Deal With DirecTV.

Dish Network Adds 30 New High-Definition Channels in Hawaii

Dish Network has launched 30 high-definition channels in Alaska on May 14. The sat caster is offering more than 65 HD channels in Hawaii. Dish Network subscribers in Hawaii can now include Bronze, Silver or Gold HD to their Classic programming packages and new subscribers signing up for DISH Network’s Classic Bronze, Silver or Gold package can include Bronze, Silver or Gold HD to receive most of the new HD channels.

Dish Network To Launch Seven HD Channels

Dish Network has recently launched four high-definition channels to its HD programming package and it’s offering 128 national HD channels. Dish has announced that its will be launching seven more HD channels in this spring. Following HD channels are lined up for the Dish’s HD subscribers:

Dish Network Launches Fox News channel in HD

Dish Network has announced that Fox News channel is added in high-definition to its subscribers. Few days back, the satcaster announced that Crime & Investigation was launched in high-definition. But the satcaster has dropped Smithsonian Channel HD channel giving room to the new channel.

Now the satcaster has comeup with the news that Fox News HD has been added and it’s not clear if it’s a real launch of a new HD channel or any other HD channel has been dropped from the programming lineup.

Dish Network Launches Crime & Investigation HD

Dish Network has announced that it has added Crime & Investigation Network in high-definition. The problem with the satcaster is that they have replaced this channel with Smithsonian Channel HD. When contacted, Dish Network officials has not responded and its learnt that the satcaster will be able to launch any new HD channels only after six months or later. Crime & Investigation HD offers a diverse mix of crime-related documentaries and fiction shows such as Crossing Jordan and Twin Peaks.
