Comcast has announced on Thursday that they have added five new high-definition channels in the Baltimore, Maryland area. Comcast had already added Five HD channels in this area during April. Comcast now has more than 40 HD channels and stating that more channels are expected to be added soon. The HD channels added in Baltimore area :
ABC Family
Disney Channel
The Science Channel
WUTB and
WGN HD
All these new addition and expansion plans are to keep up the competition with DirecTV , which is nearing 100 national HD channels and about to go for major expansion in September.
