DirecTV has added Comedy Central in high-definition on Monday. DirecTV has already launched the channel in standard-definition during the New Year day. Cox Communication is expected to deliver it by next week or so, Cablevision was the first carrier to add Comedy Central HD.
Comedy Central that carries predominantly comedy programming, both original and syndicated will deliver more than 200 hours of HD programming that also include 30 past episodes of South Park to be launched on March 11.
