GridNetworks Launches GridCast TV To Deliver Internet Video To TV

GridNetworks has launched a new service GridCast TV, which will allow content distributors and publishers to stream video directly on their websites. Video delivery platform provider launches this service to serve the viewers the contents what they require and also when they want to view.

GridCast TV will utilize the universal plug and play devices like PlayStation 3, Internet-enabled TV and Xbox 360to service the content and expected to reach 35 million homes in USA. The content owners can maintain complete control of their brand, content and revenue model on the GridCast TV and the service does not require any set top box. GridCast TV already serves Revision3, IndieFlix and havocTV with video to their viewers’ TVs.

“Our goal is to help video distributors capture more viewers, differentiate themselves from their competitors and, above all, make more money. What makes this new service different is that it combines the reach of TV with the high CPM rates associated with targeted Internet audiences–and it gets our content customers into tens of millions of living rooms right now” said GridNetworks CEO Tony Naughtin.
