MTV Networks To Launch Six HD Channels

MTV Networks has announced that it will launch six new high-definition channels through its two SES Americom New Skies satellites. The HD channels that are to be launched include:

CMT HD

Spike TV HD and

VH1 HD

Mike Aloisi, MTVN vice president of distribution technology and affiliate services said “With HD Prime, MTV Networks is able to deliver the highest quality picture and maximize bandwidth for its distribution partners.”
