Science Channel Partners With Overbrook Entertainment To Bring Young Scientist Challenge

California based American entertainment company Overbrook Entertainment has signed a production deal with The Science Channel. This deal will allow Overbrook to produce a two hour TV show Young Scientist Challenge to be premiered on January 18.

Young Scientist Challenge will find contestants through nationwide entries and will be filtered to the top 10 finalists converged on NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Washington, D.C. The science championship program will be produced by Overbrook Entertainment partnering James Lassiter, Will Smith and Ken Stovitz will serve as executive producers.

Clark Bunting, president and general manager, Discovery Emerging Networks said “When Discovery Communications started this competition ten years ago; we wanted to inspire middle school students to continue their passion for science at a time when kids usually lose interest.”
