The largest independent distributor of cable networks Olympusat has announced that it has acquired the Hispanic children’s programming service Sorpresa from Juniper Content Corporation. Olympusat’s Hispanic Pack of Spanish-language services includes Cable Noticias, Cine Mexicano, Gran Cine, La Familia Cosmovision, Latele Novela, Momentum TV, TBN Enlace, TV Chile, TV Colombia and Ultra Latino.
Sorpresa reaches one million U.S. homes through Comcast, Cablevision, Charter Communications, Cox Communications, DirecTV and Time Warner Cable.
“The addition of Sorpresa to our Spanish-language package now provides us with a well-rounded offering of services that includes all genres: movies, novelas, news, sports, dramas, inspirational and family programming, and top quality children’s content” said Tom Mohler Olympusat president.
