Spike TV To Premiere NBC Miniseries ‘Meteor’ And ‘The Storm’ in August

Spike TV has obtained the broadcast rights of RHI Entertainment produced two disaster-themed NBC miniseries, “Meteor” and “The Storm.” Spike TV will premiere both the series in August.

The Storm is an epic miniseries event where the changeable forces of nature combine in the air, on land, in the seas as the world counts down its final, catastrophic hours. Spike TV premieres part 1 on Monday, August 31 at 8:00pm and part 2 debuts Monday August 31 at 10:00pm.

Meteor features two scientists, Dr. Lehman and Imogene O’Neil, who discover the giant meteor Kassandra, approximately three times the size of Mt. Everest, has been knocked out of its orbit and is now barreling straight toward Earth. The world’s population is endangered as showers of smaller meteorites begin to lay waste to major cities around the globe. Part 1 premieres on Spike TV Sunday, August 30 at 8:00pm ET/PT and part 2 debuts Sunday, August 30 at 10pm ET/PT.
