Verizon Approved To Launch FiOS TV Service in Cohasset, Mass.

Verizon Communications has announced that it will offer FiOS TV service to residents of Cohasset, Mass. Verizon has received approval for 10 years from Cohasset Board on Monday, Nov. 30 to launch its FiOS TV service in Cohasset.

Verizon is to deliver FiOS TV service via the most advanced all-digital, fiber-optic network straight to customers’ homes.

Cohasset will be 105th Massachusetts community to receive Verizon’s FiOS TV service.

Donna Cupelo, Verizon region president for New England, said “Our advanced network delivers the ultimate home-entertainment experience, with technology innovations like more HD, the FiOS multi-room DVR, and onscreen Twitter and Facebook applications. These are benefits that traditional cable just can’t provide. And this franchise agreement clearly demonstrates the customer demand for choice in broadband, television and entertainment services.”
