Verizon Communications has launched Golf Channel in high-definition to its FiOS TV subscribers in Rhode Island. Verizon offers more than 105 high-definition channels in its FiOS TV programming line-up. Verizon is leader in delivering HD programming in this area.
The Golf Channel offers a range of programming including news and scores, tournament coverage, post-tournament programs, highlights, and current events happening around the golf industry.
Terry Denson, vice president FiOS TV content and programming said “There’s HD on FiOS, then there’s everything else, with our advanced network providing the most HD channels, the best picture-and-sound quality and interactive features that go beyond old-fashioned cable — there’s no better place than FiOS to experience sports in HD.
