Verizon’s FiOS TV has announced that it will be launching HBO and Cinemax HD programming to its Video on Demand lineup. FiOS TV customers with Cinemax and HBO subscription will have access to new HBO HD and Cinemax HD VOD channels. New launches will bring 150 hours of programming from each channel providing more HD programming from Cinemax and HBO than any other provider.
Verizon FiOS TV Movie Package will also be expanded with more on-demand content in HD from The Movie Channel, by doubling the amount of HD VOD content from Starz, and by adding 150 hours of movies on-demand from Encore.
Tricia Lynch, director of Video on Demand programming of Verizon said, “FiOS TV customers want the best in HD programming, especially when it comes to premium channels, and Verizon offers the most HD premium content in the industry. With more than 70 premium movie channels, more than 40 of which are in HD, the most HBO and Cinemax HD channels available, and FiOS TV’s incredible picture-and-sound quality, our customers don’t need to leave the comfort of their home to get a true movie-theater experience.”
